　　Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown is an American travel and food show on CNN which premiered on April 14, 2013. In the show, Anthony Bourdain travels the world uncovering lesser known places and exploring cultures and cuisine.

　　Set and filmed in Liverpool, This City is Ours is the story of Michael, a man who for all of his adult life has been involved in organised crime, working for his friend and the gang leader Ronnie. When Ronnie begins to hint at retirement, Michael too begins to imagine another life. Because, for the first time in his life, Michael is in love. For the first time in his life, he sees beyond the day-to-day, he sees a future: something to win and something to lose - Diana.
　　This City is Ours is the story of Michael and Diana's love affair, set against the disintegration of Michael’s crime gang. 　　多年以前，当Ray Drecker（Thomas Jane扮演）读高中的时候，曾是个前途无限、惹人喜爱的运动健将。如今，他人到中年却依然一事无成。他在一家学校里担任高中教师和篮球教练，报酬微薄，地位低微，还没有保险。最让他寒心的是，在一起生活了20年的妻子（Anne Heche扮演）竟然舍他而去，跟她那位有洁癖的皮肤科医生结婚了。
　　
　　屋漏偏逢连夜雨，Ray从父母那里继承来的房子因为年久失修，毁于一场大火，一直和他住在一起的一对双胞胎孩子不得不搬到母亲家里去住。孤独无依、一无所有、运气坏到了极点的Ray陷入情绪低潮，唯有参加当地一家「自救班」来解闷。这个班级的目的是找出每个人身上的潜能和能够使其在事业上获得成功的「优势」。在那里，Ray偶遇Tanya（Jane Adams扮演）－－一个本该成为诗人，却因为命运的捉弄而与成功失之交臂的平凡女人。Ray恍然间有了一种「人生何求」的感觉。

　　幸好，参加“特长班”的培训，Ray找到了自己的“特长”。和Tanya经营的“牛郎生意”说不上顺风顺水，但也慢慢走上轨道，虽然出手阔绰的妇人并不多，Tanya的"Happy Consultant"宣传手段也不尽如人意，可毕竟，生活出现了转机。
　　在此期间，Ray还友情“慰劳”了下邻居太太，完全是出于对其丈夫无休止的控诉展开的报复。 不仅如此，Ray还陷入了一场恋爱中，可惜，事不遂人愿，郎有情，妾无意，最后以Ray伤心的撕碎告白信结束。
　　2个孩子也不给Ray省心，儿子玩哥特，又疑似有GAY倾向，女儿痴迷于一无脑男，在学校的表现差强人意。而2人同母亲的关系又极度白热化，非常迫切地想要搬回老爸的住处。
　　最后Ray在生意惨淡，又面临下岗，加上对孩子的责任等一系列的压力下，接受了Lenore的介绍，瞒着Tanya开始接手出手阔绰的富太太们。而第一个客户正是自己的前妻Jessica。

　　HBO新剧《Hung》，中文译名《大器晚成》，这个译名很有神韵，关键在那个器字。Hung的意思是指男性雄壮伟大的器官，所以各位看官应该能心领神会吧？这个剧的看点在于：中年大叔、篮球教练、离婚、拖儿带女、穷困潦倒、无处藏身、胯下巨物，然后理所当然的……大叔卖身做兼职舞男了！
　　不过千万不要以为这是个H剧，实际上它探讨的话题还挺严肃的。特别是在目前全球经济一片不景气的大环境下，这个“性感大叔面临中年危机终于小宇宙爆发，发狠拼命”的剧情，还是很有现实意义的。而且它还是一部黑色幽默剧，再加上男主角是很有爱的Thomas Jane大叔，不辞辛劳的宽衣解带演出多场激情裸戏，简直是大叔控的福音啊。
