【剧情简介】：
　　《办公室》是一部艾美奖提名，获得金球奖与英国电视学院奖的一部英国电视喜剧，由Ricky Gervais与Stephen Merchant创作、制作并指导，Gervais担纲主演，并于2001年9月在BBC 2台首播。剧集的内容主要围绕虚构的Wernham-Hogg 纸业公司Berkshire（英国东南部温莎公爵堡所在的乡村），Slough分部的办公室员工的日常生活展开。虽然是虚构的剧本，剧集的形式却是纪录片，剧中人物都明确地知道摄像机的位置。
　　本剧持续了两季，每季6集，并附加了两个45分钟的圣诞节特别版。该剧不仅通过BBC全球电台如BBC主台，BBC美国台与BBC加拿大台在全世界播放，还将播映权卖给了全球逾80个国家的郭伯电视台，如澳大利亚ABC，新西兰TVNZ，和全亚洲卫星频道STAR World（基站在香港）。

　　该剧取得成功的四年后，吸引美国NBC电视台制作了一个美国版本，2005年5月24日首次播映。虽然某些场景，故事大纲以及角色挑选都以英国版本为基础，但除试播剧集外，美国版的剧本均为原创，而并非英国版本的改编。
　　法国的改编剧名为《Le Bureau》，2006年春季在Canal+（Canal plus：为法国的收费电视台，始于1984年）开始播映。这个剧集的魁北克（加拿大中部的省）版本由Anne-Marie Losique制作，名为《La Job》，2007年1月11日首演。（主角名为David Gervais，与Ricky Gervais同姓，其角色名则为David Brent）。
　　德国系列剧《Stromberg》（2004年首播），也是以《The office》为原型，但没有获得官方的改编权，开播后不久，德国的制作人被迫将Ricky Gervais与Stephen Merchant加入到“鸣谢”部分，并注明为此剧的“灵感来源”（Ricky Gervais后来补充道：不便详细透露，但是双方达成了某种协议，并且都非常满意）。
　　德国版本的《Stromberg》，在2007年11月到2008年1月播映的系列剧《Switch Reloaded》中名叫“Obersalzberg”的一段幽了一默，Obersalzberg是希特勒退休后隐居的山的名字，希特勒则为那一片区域的地方管理员。这一段剧集采用了《The office》的体裁元素。
　　巴西Globo电视台的系列剧《Os Aspones》，也有很浓重的《The Office》的影子。
　　2006年，《Hollywood Reporter》上报导，BBC公司考虑制作一个《The Office》的长篇电影版本发布。
　　2007年，《The Office》将其内容授权MumboJumbo—一个电脑游戏制作公司，该公司在2007年10月发布了一款以美国版本角色为人物设定的游戏。
　　2008年1月，《Variety》杂志登载，BBC已经授权智利电视台重新制作《The Office》，并预计于5月发布。

　　The third season renewal of the Prime Video series ‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’ is yet to be officially confirmed by Amazon, but seems like internally it has been greenlit as it is currently preparing to begin production.
　　Coming to the production schedule, ‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’ Season 3 will begin filming on June 5, 2023, in Wilmington, North Carolina, and will take more than five months to officially wrap up on November 6, 2023. Jesse Peretz, Jeff Chan, and Erica Dunton will be the directors involved in the third season.

　　Full plot details haven’t been revealed but we understand it follows the birth of the nightclub scene in London’s Soho. The series will mix elements of the fact-based research of Kohn’s book with fictional characters and storylines, exploring all aspects of the criminal world of Soho in the early 20th Century.
　　We hear it’s partly based on the true story of conservative, god-fearing 42-year old single mother Kate Meyrick, who builds a nightclub empire and criminal family enterprise and becomes the most dangerous woman in London as well as a competitor to Brilliant Chang, the baron of Soho’s gritty underworld.
　　Her nightclubs are fuelled by drugs and alcohol that allow for a generation of World War I veterans and survivors to forget their trauma and break through the rigid patriarchal structures of the era to allow women to dance, have sex and do drugs with whoever they want.
