本剧改编自Lauren Beukes的畅销小说《The Shinning Girls》。故事讲述Kirby Mazrachi（Elisabeth Moss饰），一位芝加哥记者，她从一次残忍的袭击中幸存了下来，但在追寻这个袭击者时，她发现自己的现实发生了巨大的变化。在了解到近期一起凶案跟自己情况相似后，Kirby和麻烦不断的资深记者Dan Velazquez（Wagner Moura饰）组成搭档，一起查明袭击者的身份。两人逐渐发现这些悬案有所关联，但他们的私人创伤和Kirby自己模糊不清的现实，导致袭击者总是抢先一步。

　　PBS宣布续订《桑迪顿》第二季&第三季。贾斯汀·杨(《天堂岛疑云》)担任首席编剧及执行制作人，查尔斯·斯特里奇(《故园风雨后》)担任总导演。该剧改编自简·奥斯汀创作的同名未完成小说，由罗斯·威廉姆斯、提奥·詹姆斯主演，讲述了年轻的乡村姑娘夏洛特遇到一个风趣幽默、劲头十足的男人希德尼，他试图把这个沉寂的小乡村变成度假胜地，村民们能否发财就看这个开发计划能否成功。

　　NBC宣布续订喜剧《善地 The Good Place》第四季，新季尚未知多少集，但如果照惯例的话应该也是半季13集左右。新的一季将作为最终季于2019年9月播出。

　　《谎言堂 House of Lies》演员Kristen Bell和《网络犯罪调查 CSI: Cyber》演员Ted Danson将参演Mike Schur创作的NBC直接预订成剧的13集喜剧《Good Place》。
　　Bell在本剧中的出演并不意味着她将离开Showtime的喜剧，相反正是因为她在《谎言堂 House of Lies》中的精彩演出才让她有机会出演本剧，因此她并不会顾此失彼。
